Hi,   Does anyone know if , while attempting to put the top wire linkage from Governor to throttle plate located at top of carbuerator on a HS40,Doyou have to have carbuerator off while attempting to install and then install carbuerator to intake manifold?Iam desperate to get this on wihout it falling off at either end while I twist throttle(Which is what it's been doing!!) I would appreciat any advice on how to go about doing this.      Thanks, SpeedwayDemon

I have taken carbs off HS50 and HS3.5 several times and taking off carb is the way I did it.
try and find pics of good one to compare with to make shure yours is not bent.
You will need new gasket for carb also. Hope this helps  Smiley
